O n his thirteenth birthday William Wesley (whom everyone calls Will) receives a strange letter from a so-called king. The letter is full of apologies that make no sense, so Will figures it’s some kind of a birthday surprise, but then there are three knocks on his front door. By the next morning his entire world is a smoking heap of ashes and every line written in the letter makes perfect sense.
Near the closing the letter reads:
Get on the 3:30 train. Go south. Get off at sunset and walk deep into the eastern woods. Knock on the door of the only house you come across…
Did this so-called king know what was going to happen beforehand or did he orchestrate the ordeal himself? Is he to blame or is he somehow magical? Will must know, so he sets out on an epic journey that takes him to a world full of magical magis and war, where he meets new friends and new enemies. In the end he comes face to face with the one who is truly responsible.
His life will never be the same.

Sedition. A Political Thriller by Tom Abrahams
Genre(s): Literature & Fiction, Genre Fiction, Political, Mystery Thriller & Suspense, Thrillers
B EST OF 2012!
–Rabid Readers Reviews, rabidreaders.com
“Packed with detail and plot, Abrahams’ SEDITION reminded me of some of John Le Carre’s work. Maybe RUSSIA HOUSE or TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY.”
–International Bestselling Author Marc Cameron
“With echoes of heavyweights like John Grisham, Abrahams rolls out the plot with precision and attention to detail giving us believable characters unlike so many of the other post 9/11 cookie cutter thrillers that clog the genre.”
–December 2012 THRILLER OF THE MONTH, e-thriller.com
“In a rising sea of political conspiracy novels, Abrahams’ SEDITION stands out as one of best I’ve read in several years.”
–Steven Konkoly, Bestselling author of The Jakarta Pandemic and the Black Flagged series
The President of The United States is dead. There is no Vice President to take his place.
As the nation slips into a constitutional crisis, a small group of disenfranchised neo-patriots conspire to violently seize power.
They have the will. They already have someone on the inside. And they have the explosives.
Standing in their way is a woman who listens to conversations not meant for her to hear. She reads mail not intended for her to see. She knows their intention. But can she stop them in time?
SEDITION is a smart, fast-paced, modern day political novel woven in reality and based on the 1820 British plot, The Cato Street Conspiracy.
It navigates the thin line between good versus evil and patriot versus traitor, proving there’s always a reason behind treason.
So if you like the realism and historical context of a Dan Brown thriller, mixed with research of a Tom Clancy novel…you’ll love SEDITION.

A Dictionary of Linguistic Absurdities by Chamber Proof
Genre(s): Education & Reference, Humor & Entertainment, Humor, Literature & Fiction, Contemporary, Contemporary Fiction
E dited by Professor Darren Rimmer, BA, MA, MPhil, PhD, pH, DipEng, DipThong, STD (cured). Bernard Manning chair of Neologism and Applied Hermeneutics, City University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Enjoy is the wrong word for this book, but the editor hopes you take something from it, even if it’s only a whole bunch of new things to be prejudiced about. The bastard offspring of Roger’s Profanosaurus and The Meaning of Liff (although endorsed by neither of those esteemed publications, which would no doubt distance themselves from it faster than Usain Bolt on banned substances), A Dictionary of Linguistic Absurdities is a ghastly little piece of unpleasantness brought to you by an academic research team which would just as soon burn it in front of a grateful and relieved populace. The public, however, has a right to know, as the News of the World once said, and look what happened to them.
The Nightlife: New York (The Nightlife Series) by Travis Luedke
Genre(s): Literature & Fiction, Romance, Fantasy & Futuristic, Science Fiction & Fantasy, Fantasy, Paranormal
V ampires, strippers, escorts, night clubs, gangs, pimps and corrupt cops, the Nightlife of New York is never boring.
Is she a beautiful blond guardian angel as he imagined, or something else entirely? When Michelle saves Aaron’s life she shares the benefits of her blood––after getting him shot accidentally. He awakes a changed man, living in a purgatory of eternal night, never to see the sunrise again.
Michelle drags Aaron through a hardcore learning curve of vampiric slavery. Forced to adapt to servitude, he is subject to her authority of compulsion. She orders him around like a puppet on a string, a dog on a very short leash. First things first, he must learn to feed properly without creating bloodslaves (humans addicted to the powerful drug-like effect of their venomous bite).
And then she puts him to work––a male escort in the sex trade––same as Michelle. Aaron walks a tightrope of strictly controlled feeding regiments and intensely erotic sexual adventures while catering to the neurotic control-freak tendencies of his new master. It’s do or die, Michelle vows to eliminate him if he proves too difficult to control. Amidst all these shocking and degrading adjustments, Aaron finds he’s falling in love.
Can he maintain her rules and keep a sliver of his humanity intact? Innocence is a luxury few can afford in the decadent nightlife of New York. In a world where sex, blood, and power over women is so readily accessible, Aaron struggles against the predatory instincts deeply rooted in his new psyche. He must find his way quickly, practicing rigid self-control, or risk the consequences of Michelle’s wrath.

But there is plenty of living left to be done and that’s what Sibel Hodge does best in THE BABY TRAP” — Chick Lit Central
“What a fun read! I love books where I am nothing like the main character yet I totally get her. I think that is major kudos to the writer. The ending was super interesting, and I definitely recommend this book!” – Chick Lit Plus

And when nothing seems to be working, her quest for the B-word turns into an obsession.
Can Gina stay sane, get pregnant, and keep her marriage together? Or will her baby trail become a baby trap?

F rom the author of WHITE FIRE WAR:
A unique gothic fantasy epic begins here …
Born with grey skin the color of lake clay, Phantist is an outcast from birth, shunned by the other children in the Orphan Asylum where he is raised. Then, during a solar eclipse, he witnesses a magnificent performance by Lasander Shadowmaster–a shadewright, sculptor of shadows.
When Phantist discovers that Lasander is a fellow greyskin, he finds his goal: he will become a Shadowmaster himself. His dream is to make an entire city hold its breath as his idol Lasander has done.
This quest leads him to the isolated village of Half Oak, where a strange cult holds sway, worshipping a voice in the earth: the Earth Darkness. The cult’s leader relays a deadly prophecy from his god-master:
“Everything you care about will be destroyed, greyskin. Everything and everyone. And it is all because of you. He wants you to know that. Because of YOU.”
Soon, Phantist is drawn into a web of plots and ambitions. He finds allies: Despanya, a greyskin who has forsaken shadow-sculpting to become a soldier; and Arick, a yellow-skinned master of lightning power whose childish nature belies dangerous abilities.
But the ever-present threat of Earth Darkness pursues them across the countryside. The very ground beneath their feet turns against them …
In the end, Phantist will face a grim choice that will determine the course of his life, and the fate of his world.
