Genre(s): Literature & Fiction, Science Fiction & Fantasy, Science Fiction, Adventure, High Tech
T he Halfkinds Series
Halfkinds Volume 1: Contact – Available Now
Halfkinds Volume 2: Horus – Available Now
In the twenty fourth century, a scientific experiment gave a few species the gift of intelligence, and after much struggle, they’ve carved out a place in society. By the thirtieth century, humans find themselves co-existing, negotiating, and residing on Earth with these animals as equals.
Maya Lawton is a lonely prostitute living in this world. She gives birth to the first halfkinds, creatures who are half animal-kind, and half mankind. Since interspecies breeding is illegal, she is forced into seclusion and raises them alone. Then one day, without warning, she dies, and her death leads to their discovery. Abandoned and lost, this family of halfkinds plan to escape to a terraformed moon. But the law is after them. The order is to kill, sent by the highest authority, the United Species Alliance.
What separates the Halfkinds series from the rest isn’t only its unique premise, but also its structure. Chapters shift between the first person POV’s of key characters and are presented in a non-linear fashion in order to create a mounting suspense that will keep the reader riveted until the end. Various plot twists occur within the story, and the different character viewpoints help alter the tone as you go along to give an unbiased presentation of their motives and actions. The setting allows a diverse cast of characters, some human, many not, to send a message that intelligence is a power that we take for granted, and when given to other species, the world becomes a dangerous place.

He wishes he paid closer attention to the shopkeeper’s comments, for the very next day Jeremy and his best friend Natalie make an amazing discovery. Jeremy ends up in several fantastic adventures before finally hitting on a brilliant (or so he thinks) idea. Why not use the sketchbook to bring home the Dad he has never seen and has been missing for 13 years.
Except, as Natalie points out, every time he has used the sketchbook, something dangerous has happened. And when this new attempt goes terribly wrong as well, Jeremy needs his Mom, Natalie and help from some unexpected friends as he tries to put an end to the danger.
What If? is the first book in the Jeremy Shuttle Adventures trilogy. The discovery begins here and the quest continues in this brightly imaginative blend of fantasy and fact.
Blood, Smoke and Ashes by Bradley Convissar
Genre(s): Literature & Fiction, Genre Fiction, Horror, Mystery Thriller & Suspense, Thrillers
I n the Fall of 1955, the state of Nevada used the electric chair to execute a prisoner for the first time.
It was also the last time.
Molly Blackburn, nicknamed Jane the Ripper by the Las Vegas press after killing eleven men while posing as a prostitute, was strapped to the chair without incident. The switch was flipped.
Everything after that went horribly wrong.
Since that day, a copycat Jane the Ripper has appeared almost every decade in a different city, mimicking Molly’s choice in victims as well as her methods of murder. She kills eleven men then disappears, never to be found. The similarities between the bodies left behind each decade is uncanny. As if they are all the victims of the same murderer, not a copycat.
But that’s impossible, of course, because Molly Blackburn is dead, her execution witnessed by a dozen people.
FBI Agent Jack Shaw, the lead investigator in the Jane the Ripper cases since the seventies, finally catches a break in 2009 when the intended fifth victim manages to turn the tables on the newest copycat . Everyone believes that the horror has finally ended with her capture. Shaw is not so sure, though, wondering if someone else will take up the mantle and kill seven more men to complete the cycle. But when no more bodies with her distinctive markings show up over the next two years, Shaw allows himself to believe that maybe he has seen the end of the Jane the Ripper murders.
As it turns out, what he thought was the end was only the beginning.
His hunt will take him across the country, and even when he thinks he’s finally discovered the truth, he quickly learns that not everything is as it seems.
That not every monster is created equal.
That the nature of good and evil is not as black and white as he has always believed.
That not everything that is broken can be put back together.
That not every fractured soul can be saved.
When blood, smoke and ashes rise, no one comes out the same on the other side.
Blood, Smoke and Ashes is a 115,00 word supernatural thriller that also contains the first half of my crime/thriller novella “I Never”

KLAN: Killing America by Ken Rossignol
Genre(s): Biographies & Memoirs, True Accounts, Serial Killers, Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Rights, Nonfiction, Professional & Technical, Murder & Mayhem
T he strife and horrors of the Civil War in America were raw with the wounds of the war lasting for decades; and affecting those who lived in both the North and the South. As the nation struggled to find unity, the forces of darkness and of those who wished to rule through intimidation and terror, spread their wicked ways under the cover of white sheets.
This is the story of the Ku Klux Klan and their chief brand: Lynchings, as told in the original newspaper stories from journals across the nation. Some are brief, telling only of a single attack while others are more comprehensive and detailed, telling the story with the inclusion of complex and emotional occurrences.
The attempt of the KKK to cloak the power of control over others with fear and violence is explained in some of these news stories. The chief advocate and leader of the Klan was interviewed by reporters and allowed fair access to give his side of the story. The heroism of various groups such as the NAACP and others who risked their lives standing up to thugs and criminals is also noted, as well as the words of those individuals and leaders who fought to eliminate the influence of the Ku Klux Klan.
While the KKK had as much right as any group to demonstrate and articulate their cause, the deceits and criminal actions employed by them separated their group from the legal actions of others.
For readers in the 21st Century who know little of the life and death of the KKK, the admonition to understand and know history in order to avoid repeating it, should be considered. Therefore, it is in that hope that this book has been prepared. WARNING: Authentic descriptions are vivid and brutal and the racially charged language of this historic news reports and commentary has not been modified. This material is for adults and parental guidance is appropriate.

O
On Sale in the UK for just £2.50 Feb 15-16
The U.S. is home to 76% of the world’s Serial Killers
FREE FOR PRIME SELECT MEMBERS
In this riveting box set, an award-winning author delves into the gritty, gruesome details of the most notorious serial killers to strike the United States, including the unidentified killers who may still be on the loose.
This book is a compilation of four books: female serial killers, unsolved serial killings, notorious serial killers who were captured such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and doctors who killed their patients.
WOMEN WHO KILL
When we hear about a Serial Killer, we never consider the sex, we would immediately assume a man…right? but that’s not always the case! Females are for the most part, the loving and caring protectors of our species and the ones that are more susceptible to danger. However, they are in fact the most dangerous because they are the least suspected of the Serial Killers. Like their male counterparts, they show no remorse and have no mercy for their victims. Should we still call them the weaker sex?
CASE CLOSED: SERIAL KILLERS CAPTURED
When a Serial Killer is active in a community it is extremely scary for everyone. This book focuses on Serial Killers who have been captured and some of the most notorious and ruthless killers in history. Serial killers stay close to home and their victims are random. Dennis Rader found all his victims in Kansas not far from the Wichita home he shared with his wife and two kids. Rader, the president of his local church, knocked on his victim’s doors and they simply let him in. John Wayne Gacy, met many of his 33 victims, all young men and boys, at charity events where he appeared dressed a clown. After luring them to his house and murdering them he stuffed them under his Cook County, Illinois home. Gary Leon Ridgway, the Green River Killer, was convicted of strangling 49 random women he met in Washington. He confessed to killing 71 but authorities believe the number of victims could be over 90.
DOCTORS WHO KILLED
This book captures the stories of five doctors who have killed their patients, including, Harold Shipman, Marcel Petiot, Michael Swango, H.H. Holmes, and John Bodkin Adams. It is amazing that these people chose a profession to help save lives, but preferred to kill. Is it not their job to curtail suffering and death? We sometimes put our lives in the hands of doctors, trusting that our best interests are the most important to them.
UNSOLVED SERIAL KILLINGS
If you enjoy reading true crime and especially reading about Unsolved Serial Killers, this is the book for you. It’s hard to believe, that at any given time in the United States alone, there are thirty to fifty unidentified active serial killers at work constantly changing their targets and methods; however, some authorities think that number is even much higher. Complete with F.B.I stats, profile classifications and psychotic windows to peer into, this book is about the most horrific of criminals. There are some great examples of unsolved murders that leave the reader wondering, did the killer, stop killing, die, or go to prison on unrelated charges? A spellbinding page-turner from an author with investigator in his blood!”

UNDERDOG, A True Crime Thriller of Prison Life (Prison Killers- Book 4) by Glenn Langohr
Genre(s): Politics & Social Sciences, Social Sciences, Criminology, Violence in Society, Nonfiction, Crime & Criminals
A nother one of Glenn Langohr’s stunning memoirs–a brave, unflinching account of life in prison~ Prison Killers Book 4
The California Prison System houses a mixture of Mexican cartel members, Mexican mafia, Bloods, Crips, and thousands of other street gangs fighting for control and the author turns this story into a pulp thriller of true crime.
The author of Underdog, Glenn Langohr, takes you on a journey back into prison as he remembers a prison riot days before his release date where he left his friend on the way to Pelican Bay.
The story follows the author years later as he visits his friend in Pelican Bay during a prisoner developed hunger strike against sadistic and cruel guards who get off on their isolation and enjoy adding violence to their torture.
A spotlight on the flaws at how Pelican Bay determines gang validation and solitary confinement.
“With lazer-like precision Glenn Langohr lays bare the festering under-belly of our criminal justice system in a driving, graphic narrative that somehow finds the humanity in this most inhuman setting.” Phillip Doran, T.V. Producer and Author
