Murder in Orange Grove Park by Marguerite Mooers

Claire Henderson arrives one morning to find that Orange Grove Park, a place she owns with her husband, Roger, is being sold. Claire loves Orange Grove Park. Her adoptive grandparents live there, but Roger won’t tell her who the buyer is. Enlisting the help of a group of wily senior citizens who call themselves The Orange Grove Sleuths, Claire sets out to stop the sale of Orange Grove. As she does so, she learns that Roger has other secrets: he’s having an affair, and he’s laundering money for the mob.
And then Roger’s dead body is found floating in the swimming pool at Orange Grove.
Now Claire and the Sleuths must not only learn who Roger was selling the park to, but who murdered him.
With her friends, the Sleuths, Claire sets out to solve the mystery. But things do not go smoothly.
With her friends, Claire must survive a deadly hurricane by sheltering in a fragile building, confront a mob boss who cuts off his victim’s fingers and confront a killer. And Claire must reveal a closely-held secret that threatens to send her to jail. What would you do to save a place you loved?
