Santa Claws: A Christmas Tail for Cats by Denise Alicea

Apollo, the rescue cat has had a hard life – until recently. He has found his forever home and has plenty of food to eat, lots of cuddles from his humans and cozy places to sleep. His humans have done something strange though: they have brought a tree into the house and covered it with shiny, glittering things that Apollo would love to play with! When a man comes down the chimney, Apollo is not scared – and soon Santa Claus tells him all about Christmas and how he delivers presents to every girl and boy in the world… But there’s no Santa Claus for cats – or is there?

This delightful story book tells the reader about Apollo’s life before he found his forever home, and explains just how happy he is now: well fed, warm and dry, and with plenty of love. It will quickly become a favorite Christmas tale (maybe even an anytime story?) with everyone in the family, young and old alike!

Add it to your bookshelf: and then let your children read it to themselves, or save it for bedtime, sending your little one off to sleep in a cloud of fairy dust, a sprinkling of snow and lots of love!
