A book of prophecies foretells that a Guardian will arise and usher in a golden age for the people of planet Avlina. Expectations are high as they wait for a boy to be born under the unusual circumstance of being orphaned before birth. Yet the child who fits this prediction turns out to be a girl instead. The prophecy also claims no evil heart can stop the Guardian, but an insidious presence, working behind the scenes, is determined to find a way to bypass the predication and wreak havoc on the world.
